Hurricane Varese, Fortitudo Bologna White Sox, Leonessa Brescia and Lampi Milano qualified for the Italian Blind Baseball League (LIBCI) semifinals.
Varese finished the 10-game regular season undefeated, followed by the three-time defending champions Bologna (9-1). Brescia (8-2) finished third.
Milano tied for fourth place with Thurpos Cagliari and Blind Karalis. The three teams were also tied at 1-1 in the head-to-head, and LIBCI used the WBSC TQB to break the tie.
